DAY 1 – Travel from Bagdora to Nameri (199km / 5 Hours)
On the first day of your tour to Arunachal Pradesh, start journey northwards, for the first stop at Nameri, which is famous for its National Park. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure with a walk near the banks of the river; overnight stay and dinner will in eco-camp in Nameri.
DAY 1 – Travel from Bagdora to Nameri (199km / 5 Hours)
On the first day of your tour to Arunachal Pradesh, start journey northwards, for the first stop at Nameri, which is famous for its National Park. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure with a walk near the banks of the river; overnight stay and dinner will in eco-camp in Nameri.
DAY 2 – Travel from Nameri to Dirang (166km/3.5 Hours)
Toady morning, start the day with a Jungle Trek followed by breakfast. Leaving for Dirang. Upon arrival in the town, settle down and get acquainted with the local environs with a walk through the hamlet, the apple farms and the kiwi farms. A short hike to Dirang Dzong will offer you glimpses of the local life around; breakfast, dinner and overnight stay will be in Dirang.
Day 3 – Dirang Sangti Valley Tour (10Km/30 Minutes)
From Dirang, go on a 10km drive to the gorgeous Sangti Valley, a beautiful spot for mountain hiking and a prominent location to spot black cranes during the winters. Get to see the beautiful local sites like the Old Dirang and the Kalachakra Gompa. Post all these, return to Dirang for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Travel from Dirang to Tawang (196km/6 Hours)
On this day, heading towards Tawang via the Sela Pass; one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is also sacred to the Buddhist. The pass is very close to the pristine Sela Lake, which is a definite stop over on this road journey, before we head north to Tawang. The day will be spent by hiking the locale and visiting some of the cafes; overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 5 – Tawang Exploration (45 km, 4 Hours)
Post today’s breakfast, visiting the stunning Shonga-tser Lake and the Bum La Pass. The lake, which was once the grazing field of the cattle, was formed due to an earthquake and is surrounded by snowy peaks. After the tour of the lake, travel to Bum La Pass, which is located at 16,000ft and was used by Dalai Lama to escape from Tibet to India.
After these visits, head towards the fascinating Tawang Monastery and seek blessings from the Gods. The largest Buddhist monastery in India and second largest in Asia, it dates back around 400 years and houses about 450 monks. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 6 – Travel from Tawang to Thembang (221km/7 Hours)
After an early morning breakfast, visit the culturally rich Thembang village. Upon arrival at the hamlet, witness and get acquainted with the local life of the Monpa Tribe and know more about the diverse cultures and traditions; overnight stay in Thembang.
Day 7 – Travel from Thembag to Tezpur (179km/5 Hours)
Today will be your last day of Arunachal tour package! After having breakfast in Thembang, take an exciting drive through Bomdilla, Dirang, Bhalukpong to reach to Tezpur. Arriving at the town, relax, unwind, and embark on a local walking tour to have a glimpse of the local life; overnight stay in Tezpur.
Day 8 – Travel from Tezpur to Guwahati (165km/5 Hours)
On the last day of Arunachal Pradesh tour package, you will be driven towards Guwahati, the capital city of Assam and the hub of the North-East India. With your arrival in the city, this rustic Arunachal Pradesh package tour will come to an end.
