DAY 2 => Gangtok Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

This morning, embark on a half-day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft), located just 32 km from Gangtok. The lake, approximately 1 km long and 15 meters deep, holds great spiritual significance for the locals. Continue 12 km further to visit the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. In the evening, enjoy leisure time in Gangtok for shopping and personal activities. Overnight stay in Gangtok. (In case of adverse weather conditions, landslides, or political restrictions, an alternative sightseeing arrangement will be provided.)
DAY 3 => Gangtok to Lachen via Mangan and Chungthang (126 km)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lachen via Chungthang. Situated at an altitude of 2750m, Lachen offers breathtaking views. En route, enjoy picturesque spots such as Naga Waterfalls, Twin Waterfalls, Bhim Nala Waterfalls, and the confluence of Lachen and Lachung Rivers at Chungthang. Lunch will be provided along the way. Expected arrival at the hotel by evening, followed by an overnight stay in Lachen.
DAY 4 => Lachen to Gurudongmar, back to Lachen, and onward to Lachung.

Lachen is a quaint village surrounded by lush green mountains at an elevation of 2,750 meters. Early in the morning, embark on a journey to Gurudongmar Lake, situated at an altitude of 17,000 feet. It is one of the highest and most sacred lakes in North Sikkim. Due to the high altitude, breathing difficulties may occur, so caution is advised. On the way back, enjoy an outer view of Chopta Valley before returning to the hotel for lunch. After lunch at the Lachen hotel, proceed towards Lachung, reaching by late afternoon. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Lachung.
DAY 5 => Lachung to Yumthang, back to Lachung, and onward to Gangtok

Lachung is a picturesque mountain village near the Tibetan border, situated at an altitude of 2,700 meters. After breakfast, embark on a journey to Yumthang, located 26 km away (approximately 1 hour). Yumthang Valley, sitting at an elevation of 11,800 feet, is traversed by the Lachung River, offering breathtaking landscapes. An optional visit to Zero Point (approx. INR 3000 per car) is also available. Lachung is renowned for its snow-covered surroundings and vibrant rhododendron blooms. On the return journey, stop by the famous hot springs, known for their therapeutic properties. Enjoy lunch at a hotel in Lachung, take a short rest, and then proceed to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
DAY 6 => Gangtok to Pelling Transfer

After having breakfast in the morning, head to Pelling. Enjoy the beautiful journey, check into your hotel, and relax for the night.
DAY 7 => Exploring Pelling

After breakfast, set out for a local sightseeing tour in Pelling, visiting the serene Rimbi Falls, the majestic Khangchendzonga Falls, and the sacred Khecheopalri Wish Lake. In the afternoon, explore the historic Pemayangtse Monastery, the fascinating Rabdentse Ruins, the scenic Rabdentse Viewpoint, and the Helipad Ground offering panoramic views. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Pelling.
DAY 8 => Travel from Pelling to Darjeeling.

DAY 9 => Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Start your day early at 4:00 AM with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, explore the peaceful Ghoom Monastery and the scenic Batasia Loop. After breakfast, embark on a half-day city tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays), and a panoramic view of the lush tea gardens. Conclude your tour with a visit to the serene Japanese Temple before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
DAY 10 => Transfer from Darjeeling to IXB/NJP for Departure.
