After checking into your hotel, you will embark on an evening city tour to discover this chic metropolitan's blend of cultures. After breakfast, check out of your Colombo hotel and drive to Pinnawala (approx. 2.5 hours). You will visit the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to see the rescued herd in a semi-natural environment, a truly unforgettable experience. Afterward, transfer to Kandy, the cultural capital. Here, you will visit the profoundly sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing the revered canine tooth of the Buddha. After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Kandy and begin your scenic private transfer to the beautiful south coast beach resort of Bentota (approx. 4.5 hours). Bentota is famous for having some of the best beaches on the West Coast, where the Bentota River meets the Indian Ocean. Upon arrival and check-in, the rest of the day is yours to relax on the golden sands and enjoy the peaceful seaside atmosphere. Following this, you will embark on a fascinating boat ride along the Madhu Ganga River.
