DAY 1 => Arrival at Leh Airport and Transfer to Hotel

Welcome to Leh. Upon your arrival at Leh Airport, our driver or tour guide will warmly welcome you and escort you directly to your pre-booked hotel in Leh. We recommend spending the first day at the hotel to help you acclimate to the region's low atmospheric pressure. Christmas and New Year Gala Dinner charges will be as per hotel policies. In case the selected hotel is sold out, under maintenance, or facing service issues, a similar hotel will be provided. Children below 5 years can stay for free in the parent’s room without an extra bed or meals. However, milk or meal charges for infants or children below 5 years must be paid directly at the hotel. Children between 5-12 years and adults (above 12 years) will incur additional charges according to company policies. Discounts offered by Andromeda Tour & Travels are available for a limited time. After the cutoff date, regular rates and inclusions will apply. Guests are encouraged to book their packages before the deadline. After checking in and freshening up, we will take some time to relax. Later in the day, we will visit the famous local market in Leh.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before setting off on an exciting Leh city tour. Discover the rich history and culture of Ladakh as you visit some of the region's most iconic landmarks: - Shey Palace: Once the summer capital of Ladakh, this ancient palace offers a glimpse into the royal heritage with its impressive architecture and a giant Buddha statue. - Hemis Monastery: The largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, renowned for its beautiful murals, ancient relics, and vibrant Hemis Festival. - Stok Palace: The current residence of the royal family of Ladakh, showcasing a fascinating museum with royal artifacts, traditional clothing, and precious jewelry. - Hall of Fame: A museum built by the Indian Army in honor of brave soldiers, offering insight into Ladakh's military history and culture. - Thiksey Monastery: A stunning hilltop monastery resembling the Potala Palace of Lhasa, featuring a 49-ft statue of Maitreya Buddha and breathtaking views of the Indus Valley. DAY 3 => Leh to Nubra (120 km Road Journey from Leh)

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and depart for Nubra. On the way, we will pass through Khardungla Pass, the world’s highest motorable road. Upon reaching Nubra, we will visit notable attractions such as: - Deskit Monastery - Hunder Village - Double-humped Bactrian camel safari in the sand dunes between Hunder and Deskit villages After a full day of exploring Nubra, we will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 => Nubra to Pangong (221 km Road Distance from Nubra)

The journey from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake in Ladakh, India, can be undertaken by road or air. The road distance between Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake is approximately 221 km. The shorter and faster route via Shyok covers about 140 km and takes around 6 hours. This route helps you avoid returning to Leh and offers picturesque views along the way. During the journey, you can visit notable spots such as the Shyok River and the Shyok Monastery. Upon arrival at Pangong, explore the stunning Pangong Lake, renowned for its breathtaking beauty and changing hues. After a full day of sightseeing at Pangong, head to the camp for an overnight stay.
DAY 5 => Pangong to Leh – Journey via Changla Pass

In the morning, after breakfast at Pangong, we will begin our journey back to Leh. The road trip from Pangong Lake to Leh covers approximately 160 km and takes around 5-6 hours, depending on road conditions and weather. The route offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes and mountains, making it a memorable experience. The most common and popular route to reach Leh from Pangong Lake is via the scenic Changla Pass. Starting early is advisable to have ample time to explore Pangong Lake and still return to Leh before nightfall. Upon reaching Leh, we will visit notable attractions such as: - Shanti Stupa - Leh Main Bazaar / Main Market Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
DAY 6 => Shaam Valley Tour
