DAY 1 => Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Leisure Walk in Leh Bazaar
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh (11,500 ft), where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After breakfast, take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, enjoy a slow-paced walk through the charming Leh Bazaar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 2 => Leh Sightseeing – Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Sangam & Shanti Stupa
After breakfast, set out for a scenic day excursion covering the Hall of Fame Museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the breathtaking Sangam – the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, perched atop a hill offering panoramic sunset views over Leh and the Indus Valley. Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 3 => Journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La – Camel Safari in Hunder
After breakfast, drive to the stunning Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), the highest motorable road in the world. Enroute, witness majestic views of the Karakoram Range and the scenic Shyok River. Visit the towering Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery before arriving in Hunder. In the evening, enjoy a camel safari on the sand dunes of the cold desert. Overnight stay in Hunder.
DAY 4 => Excursion to Turtuk – The Last Village on the Indo-Pak Border
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Turtuk, a remote and culturally rich village near the Indo-Pak border. Once part of Baltistan (Pakistan), Turtuk was reclaimed by India during the 1971 war. Visit Zero Point, just 2.2 km from the Pakistan border, where you can view both Indian and Pakistani bunkers. Discover the unique Balti culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality of this peaceful Muslim village. Return to Hunder by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
DAY 5 => Drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route – A Himalayan Gem at 14,500 ft
After breakfast, journey to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake through the scenic and less-traveled Shyok route. Located at an altitude of 14,500 ft, Pangong Lake stretches over 144 km, with 25% in India and the rest extending into China. Marvel at its surreal blue waters surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
DAY 6 => Return to Leh via Chang La Pass – Evening at Leisure
After breakfast, drive back to Leh through the majestic Chang La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy panoramic views along the way as you descend from the high-altitude lake. Spend the evening at leisure in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 7 => Cultural Day Tour – Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery & 3 Idiots School
After breakfast, explore the cultural gems around Leh starting with Shey Palace & Monastery, once the summer retreat of Ladakh’s royal family and home to the world’s tallest gold-plated copper statue of a seated Buddha. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, a majestic 12-storey complex offering breathtaking views of the Indus Valley and adorned with ancient artifacts and colorful murals. Wrap up the day with a visit to the famous 3 Idiots School, featured in the iconic Bollywood film. Overnight stay in Leh.
DAY 8 => Departure from Leh – Bidding Farewell to the Land of High Passes
Early morning, transfer to Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport for your return flight. Carry back unforgettable memories of serene landscapes, vibrant culture, and the majestic beauty of Ladakh.
